You can make a difference!
Multiclass Snowsports programs provide the support necessary for athletes with disabilities to train and compete in a safe environment alongside the mainstream Interschools. We are very keen for Multiclass to have a continued presence on the mountain through community commitment to inclusion at Interschools, with over 6,000 competitors from 170 schools.
Since 2019, Multiclass and Special Olympics athletes have also competed in the national Australian Interschools Snowsport Championships, enabling us to further support and promote snowsports inclusion at the national level. Athletes, with an intellectual disability and Autism, also have the potential this year to qualify to compete in the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Italy!
The Multiclass Event provides coaching and race training from qualified ski instructors, sponsored equipment hire, a participant dinner event with guest speaker(s), supported race competition and medal presentations. Our Dryland Preparation Program additionally prepares athletes for training and racing on the slopes, over the 3 months leading up to the Event.
In order to fund our programs each year, we rely significantly on the generosity and sponsorship of the broader community. Please help us support people with a disability to participate and achieve their potential through our programs.
Any donation of $2.00 or more is tax deductible through our fundraising project with the Australian Sports Foundation.
