The Multiclass Snowsports program provides the support necessary for athletes with disabilities to train and compete in a safe environment alongside the mainstream Interschools. We are very keen for Multiclass to have a presence on the mountain through community commitment to inclusion at Interschools, which now boasts 6,000 competitors from 170 schools.
2023 is the 3rd year Multiclass and Special Olympics athletes will compete in the National Interschools Championships, allowing us to further drive snowsports inclusion at the national level. Athletes also have the potential to qualify to compete in the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin, Italy!
The Multiclass Event provides lessons and race training from qualified ski instructors, subsidised equipment hire, a participant dinner event with guest speaker(s), supported race competition and medal presentations.
In order to fund our Multiclass Event each year, we rely significantly on the generosity and sponsorship of the broader community. Please help us support people with a disability to participate and achieve their potential through our snowsport program.
